Just Like Bubbie

Jemma is like most younger siblings and looks up to Jaxon a lot and wants to do everything he does. Because of their age difference it hasn't bothered him too much. Right now he likes the admiration. Sometimes in the morning she will want Bubbie to get her out of bed and not me. He beams when that happens. He also likes to take care of her in the morning when she lets him and get her breakfast. I'm all for that! This morning in church she wanted to sit by Bubbie and cuddle with him.

This is when Jemma wanted to be with Bubbie even though Bubbie wasn't in a good mood.

Jemmaisms:
Every time we pass someone and the bumps are in the middle that makes a loud noise Jemma says, "You fart!"

Obviously being around the boys Jemma knows all about farts. She loves Minnie and Mickey Mouse so of course one time when she was playing with her Mickey she said, "Mickey fart!" Then started laughing.

And staying on the subject, we've been trying to potty train. Jemma was really interested in the beginning and I thought she might even do it before her second birthday but I didn't push it too much. Now she understands what the potty is but will go and poop in her room or in the corner and say, "Don't look at me!" (She has her diaper on at least!) Anyway, when we started potty training we said she could have a piece of candy if she went. And she did at the beginning. Now she goes in her diaper, I clean her up and tell her next time go in the potty. She will say I go potty and we'll sit her on it and she won't do anything then says, "I get candy!" Nice try!
