Lewis Days 5K

Saturday, July 6th was the Lewis Days 5K. I am on the committee that helped organize the Lewis Days events so I had to help and Blake was asked to DJ. The night before was Bingo night so I was busy helping with that and it didn't hit me until 11:30 that night that both Blake and I would have to get up and be there at 5 a.m. which meant we'd have to take the kids! Whoops! If I was thinking I would have had my mom take them for the night and then she could have brought them up a little later since she was coming anyway. Oh well it was too late when I realized but the kids did really good considering it was such a full day.

He did a good job! I don't remember what his time was but all the kids started off at a full sprint so I was kind of worried he'd even be able to finish but he made it of course. I can't remember what he placed but he got a medal so he was happy.
