Crown Bearer 2011

Jaxon was picked to be the crown bearer for Winter Homecoming. I think he was the most excited about getting a new suit. He loves to dress up. We'll see how long that lasts. I ordered his suit from JCPenny's about 2 weeks before thinking it would be no big deal but it came in that Friday. Thank goodness but we did have some back ups from Christmas at least but I'm glad the new one came in.
Homecoming was on Friday, February 4. That day at noon I took him over for rehearsal. He was acting really shy but he was listening to what they told him to do. It was good that he got to practice because it was kind of hard to explain to him what he was doing. He's too young to realize how lucky was because he got to escort 2 flower girls - twins!
Here they are practicing:

I took a lot of pictures of Jaxon but of course forgot to get pictures of him with all the family that came to watch him. I always plan on doing that then things get busy and I forget. Plus he's not always willing to take pictures. Before we left I did get one of him when I was still planning on taking pictures of him with family. We had my parents, my grandparents, Blake's parents, and Blake's grandpa all come to watch him - he's so spoiled.

Warming up for pics.

As time was getting closer we were trying to keep them entertained without messing up their clothes too much.
