Time to finally announce on the blog that we are expecting in early April. We waited until we told Jaxon then let him tell everyone. We told him 2 Sundays ago. I just put up the sonogram picture to see if he'd notice and right away he was like that's a picture of a baby. I had no idea he'd even know what it was. He was pretty funny looking between the picture then looking at me. He was looking at my belly to see if anything was there. We told him and he was sooooo excited! He was smiling about it for days afterward. My favorite Jaxonism from it was when he asked, "Mommy can I cuddle with you and the baby?" Also, every time I eat he wants to see if the baby is any bigger. He also tells me all the time, "I love you baby... and mommy too."
He's so excited to be a big brother. He said he'll be happy with what he gets but he really wants a baby sister so we'll see.
I've not been feeling well at all. Extremely tired and sick. Fortunately my sickness happens more at night so I'm able to get through the day at school.
So prayers please for a healthy baby and also for mommy to feel better soon!

Skating
Some family friends, Alex and Ava, had a skating party for their birthday. Jaxon was so excited to skate even though he'd never done it before. He decided that he needed some Toy Story skates of his own. I have never seen any so I don't know where he got that in his head. I said maybe Christmas - my usual answer. My mom said sure so she looked but didn't see any. Anyway, Jaxon had a great time and many falls but fortunately at that age it doesn't phase them at all.

Monkey Bars
Jaxon is so excited that he can now do the monkey bars by himself the whole way across. He likes to show off when he can.
The only downfall is that he was doing it a lot one hot recess at school and ended up with a bad blister. He was not happy about it. I was gave him a band air and pretty much told him to suck it up. Then he went with Blake to take Boots to the vet to get shots. Jaxon was pouting about his blister so the workers and vet felt bad for him and made him this:
He calls it his cast. People kept asking what happened to Jaxon and I felt embarrassed to say it was a blister but he couldn't have been more proud of it. He made me sign it that night like it was a real cast. What a gobber!
Oh and the vet gave us extra so we could wrap it more when it got old. Yeah1

Ploger Reunion
The weekend before Labor Day we went to Wichita to meet up with Blake's side of the family. His sister, Molly, was visiting from Pennsylvania so everyone got together before she went back. Jaxon had a great time swimming and playing at the motel. Also being the center of attention. I brought my camera with good intentions but forgot to take many pictures which is what usually happens. So here are the few I took.
Playing air hockey with Mamaw and one of Blake's twin cousins.
He thinks he is a great ping pong player.

School Days
Jaxon is really enjoying Kindergarten. Some of the highlights are recess of course and eating in the cafeteria. He even got to take his lunch one day which he thought was the coolest thing ever. I'm trying to get him to try each lunch at least once to see if he likes it before we decide if it's a bring your lunch day. Tomorrow is fish sticks so we're bringing a lunch. He's really funny about getting him to talk about school. He always says he forgets and it takes a lot for me to get anything out of him. I asked him Monday why he didn't tell me on Friday about a student in his class who broke his arm at recess. All he said was, "Well you know now!" Typical man!
