Jemma's First Time Eating

Before school started, Jemma ate some rice cereal for the first time. Jaxon was sooo excited because now he could feed her. I showed him how a little bit then he went right to it. She did pretty good for her first time. At one point she did spit it out at Jaxon and made him jump back. I caught it on video.

Checking out her spoon.

Granny and Papa were visiting at the time to see us before school started. Here are some pics of Jemma hanging with Granny outside. She loves to be outside.

Playing Hairdresser

Since Jemma has so much hair, I've had fun getting to play hairdresser already. It does make me nervous on a little baby because I don't want to hurt her. (I was a huge baby when I was little and my mom did my hair.) But she does really good even if she moves around a lot. Here are some different photos when I put her hair in pigtails. I love it! It really changes her looks though.

Jemma's 4 Month Old Pooh Pics

As I was patting myself on the back for getting August caught up on the blog, I realized that I had posted about Labor Day Weekend and didn't have anything about Jaxon's first day of school which happened before that. I have a need to put this in chronological order - it's just the way my brain works - so this disturbed me. I realized between uploading photos to Photobucket and Facebook I somehow didn't get all of my pics uploaded on Photobucket to my August album. Then I panicked and thought maybe those photos were lost. But alas they are on my computer and I have them uploaded so I am going back to the beginning of August and then somehow it will catch up with my other posts. Sorry for the confusion but this probably really only bothers me.

Here are Jemma's 4 month old Pooh pics. She was being cute and Jaxon wanted in on the action so I have a lot of pics. I know you won't mind.

Labor Day Weekend

We had not been to the farm since the beginning of July so we decided we'd make a quick trip back to see everyone. Here's a quick rundown of our busy weekend:
Friday - leave after school to go to my parents
Saturday - hang out on the farm and take Jaxon's 6 year old pics and Jemma's 5 month old pics, around 3 visit my friend Tara to see her new baby, then head to Pratt to see Blake's mom, leave around 8 to go back to Satanta
Sunday - Blake goes to Garden to help his dad move his aunt's stuff, Blake came back around 4 then set up to DJ a birthday party for our friends' kids
Monday - attempt to relax and get ready for school the next day
Whew!

So here are some pics from that crazy weekend.

On Friday we took pizza to the field. My dad and brother were cutting corn so Jaxon got to ride also.

One of my good friend's growing up, Tara, had a baby at the end of June. So we went over to her parent's farm and got the babies together. Carson is a pretty big boy. Here are some pics of my friend's dad, Greg, holding the babies. (Thank god I didn't have twins!)

Keeping it in the family. Jaxon LOVES to dance! He watches a dance show on Disney called Shake it Up and models their dancing. I, of course, think he's pretty good. I got some good video of Jaxon and Blake dancing to Michael Jackson.
