Royals Game

So here are the photos from the real game. It was hot but it ended up being a perfect night. The royals won! Friday is $1 hot dogs, popcorn, and peanuts and they have fireworks after the game. Also Blue Bunny gave away free ice cream as we left! We had a fun night!

Every since the game Jemma will start chanting, "Let's go oils!" It should be Royals but she says it with the right inflections and everything, including the 2 claps after.

Royals Game Celebrities

The next day after the turtle races we left for KC for a fun mini-family vacation. First up on Friday, July 19 we went to a Royals game. It was hot and humid like it usually is in Kansas City but not the worst I've been too. We went with my parents and brother and our friend, Brent, met us up there to go to his first Royals game.

It was the night that some celebrities were having a fundraiser in KC and the night we went they had a wiffle ball tournament at the game. It was hosted by Paul Rudd, Jason Sudekis, and Rob Riggle who are from Kansas City. There is a smaller ball field in the kids area that they played in. They played before the game and since we had such a big group and it's hot we didn't get there super early but the game was still going on so Mom and I went to check it out while the others checked out the kids area. You didn't have to pay anything to go to the wiffle ball game since you already had tickets to get in the stadium. We had to stand in line for about 20-30 minutes though because they only let people in as people left. We could hear it and watch it on the TV's around us. We were afraid we wouldn't make it in but we made it right at the end. Which actually was the best part because we got some autographs. I won't name all of the celebrities but here are the ones that I actually knew: Paul Rudd, Jason Sudekis, Rob Riggle, James Marsden, Olivia Wilde, Sarah Chalke, Johnny Knoxville, Damon Wayans Jr., J.K. Simmons, Kevin Pollack, Wilmer Valderrama, and Angela Kinsey.

We ended up getting pretty close. Here's the photos I took but they didn't all turn out great. But hey, we were there!
