Christmas Eve was at my parents' house like usual.
A photo of Jemma I snapped while she was waiting to open presents.
They were super patient!
Kids come and take a picture by the tree. This is what I get.
Time to open! We always go in order of age. This year we started with the youngest.
Princess Sofia
Another shopping cart.
Uncle D please open for me!
Clothes!
Uncle D Rocks!
Jemma helping Grandma open her KU snowman.
Clothes for Jaxon. He doesn't think clothes are that exciting at this age but he'll learn.
All they really need is bubble wrap.
We went to the Christmas Eve service in Lewis. The kids are helping the pastor light the last advent candle.

Making Cookies for Santa 2013
We always enjoy making and decorating cookies for Santa every year. This year I made chocolate sugar cookies. It was good but not the best so probably go back to regular next year. We still had fun though.
Off came the dress to keep it clean. Again I tried a new frosting that was more of a glaze that would get hard. Probably not a repeat recipe. I guess if I made sugar cookies all the time then I'd find my favorite but I don't do them b/c they're messy and if they're around I will eat them.
Messy fingers.
A few of the finished ones we took for Santa. We left the rest at Grandma's for others to enjoy.
