Here are some pics of Jaxon and Jemma playing around. These are pics from July when she was starting to really interact with people. She's in her diaper which is Jaxon's favorite way for Jemma to be so he can get in there and kiss that tummy and those rolls!
Sticking her foot in his face.
This is a pic Jaxon took of Jemma's foot. He tried to get artsy and take pictures like Grandma does.
Papa's birthday is on July 5th so we're usually around to help him celebrate. Here is Papa with his 2 great-grandchildren on his birthday. The outfit Jemma is wearing was actually my outfit as a baby. It was the first dress that Granny bought me. I think it made her look more like me to my mom and Granny.
Right after Jaxon's 6th birthday, so July 1, his bottom right tooth got really loose. He tried hard to get it out and we all tried too. He was really excited but also scared. He wanted it out but was afraid it would hurt so it didn't come out right away. The next few days we spent a lot of time in the bathroom in front of the mirror trying to get it out. He wouldn't let any of us try to pull it out but maybe once. He didn't like me or my mom to try because we have sharp nails he didn't want in his mouth. Then when it was getting really loose he saw the blood in his mouth and freaked out. So it was all very dramatic!
Finally we left it, even though it was hanging on by one little root. Then on July 4th, Jaxon was eating breakfast and all of the sudden NO TOOTH! He was so excited as we all were for him. He was glad it came out with no pain BUT we never did find the tooth. So we left the tooth fairy a note and she brought him a dollar in quarters anyway. He actually wasn't that upset that he didn't have the tooth. He was just relieved it was over.
First Tooth Jaxon Lost - Bottom Right
Here are some pics of Jaxon in front of the mirror trying to pull it out.
A week later on July 11 Jaxon lost his left bottom tooth. This time he pulled it out himself and wasn't as scared since he knew what was going to happen. We were able to put this tooth under the pillow.
I know it's pathetic I'm just now getting this post up. I've got many reasons (excuses) why I haven't blogged in a long time that I won't bore you with. I'll just slowly get started catching up.
For the 4th of July weekend my mom's brother and his daughter and her boyfriend, and my mom's sister and her husband and daughter came out to visit. On that Saturday night for Lewis Days they had a street dance that we all went up for. Then Blake had to go back to Satanta to DJ a 4th of July dance. We were going to go with him but since they had a burn ban and no fireworks show and we missed out last year on fireworks because of rain, we stayed behind. Jaxon had a lot of fun with my Aunt's daughter, Aidan. She is my first cousin but is actually a few months younger than Jaxon. They have a special love/hate relationship. (They drove us all crazy!)
Playing and shooting firecrackers.

I've got a lot more pictures that I still need to upload but I'm having issues with photobucket so we'll see how quickly my next post will be.
