First Snow

When we got home on Sunday, right after we pulled into the house the first snowflake fell in Satanta. It looked great coming down but unfortunately it wasn't cold enough so none of it stuck. I purposely didn't tell Jaxon it was supposed to snow but he heard everyone telling us that we should get going so we'd beat the snow and he heard that. It was funny because at first he didn't believe us that it was snow because it was melting once it hit the ground. We had just gotten some new snow boots and jacket so he went ahead and tried them on and went outside to at least say he was out in it. Last year, I felt bad because he was so excited for it to snow and when we finally had snow he was sick and when he could finally go out in it, it had melted. He can't say he missed the first one this year - if you can count it.

It really was snow coming down even though it looks like just rain.
