Introducing Our Baby Girl!
Jemma Nicole Ploger was born April 6, 2011 in Garden City, Kansas at 6:18 p.m. and was 7 lbs 10 oz and 20 inches!
We are so excited that she is finally here (and Mommy's not pregnant anymore)! After she finally got here after 12 hours of labor the next thing we couldn't wait for was Jaxon to meet his baby sister. My mom brought him to the hospital and he was instantly in love and attached to her. Everywhere she went he was there. He held her right away and had a hard time letting others hold her. I was amazed and how he was not scared around her at all and did a great job holding her. It's been an adjustment for all of us but Jaxon's done really well sharing the attention - something he's not used to.
When Jaxon pulled his attention away from Jemma he told me that I looked gorgeous. That made me feel gorgeous even though I knew at that moment I was far from it. Later of when he was cuddling with me he did ask why my stomach was still big but that was to be expected. I was wondering the same thing.
We had many visitors in the hospital - Grandma, Grandpa, Mamaw, Papaw, Granny, Papa, Grandpa Ploger and Uncle D. Also Cathy Gardner with her daughters and a coworker that just had a baby also - Stephanie Woolfolk and her family.
We have taken many pictures of course so most of the posts will be pics.
Jaxon finally meeting Jemma after a very long wait! He's said he wanted a baby sister since he was about 2. And he's been praying for one since he was 4. He kept saying, "I prayed for her Mom!"

The first of many, many kisses.
I swore I wouldn't post anything like this of me after labor but my focus is on my 2 babies.

Jaxon had many people bring him toys to keep him occupied. He's not being overshadowed - don't worry.

This was right before we got to go home on Thursday. Jaxon was pooped and ready to go home! So were we.

Jemma was welcomed very well! Jaxon is such a big brother, and very protective, I might say! We are so glad she is here safely and Mama is doing good. Thank you Lord for sending the precious bundle to us, another blessing from God!!! Granny
