After the success of the 100th year reunion last year in Lewis, people in town decided to try and do it again over the 4th of July weekend. It is so much fun to see the town I grew up in come "alive" again! (Maybe that's why the movie Cars always makes me choke up when they show the town in it's hay day and how it changes.)
Anyway, on Saturday, July 2nd they had a parade. Of course there wasn't as many people that were there for the big reunion but it's nice to see the town come together. I know there's a lot of people that will try to make it next year as they hope to make it an annual event!
Jaxon rode with Papa on the tractor in the parade.
Jemma slept through the whole parade! Even when the firetrucks came by and blared their horns!
Jaxon with my friend (Martha) from high school's son, Michael. They're the same age.
The medal around Jaxon's neck is actually Papa's. He won it that morning in the walk/run they had.
