Tuesday mornings the kids go to the library program here in town. Some of my friends with kids also go so we decided to make a fun day of it one time. After library we headed up to Larned and ate Subway then went to the Splash Pad. Blake happened to be getting a part for the farm so he was able to meet us to eat then had to go. We've been to the Splash Pad before but not this year. This year since Jemma was older I didn't have to get wet and just got to watch. They have some great shade there so it was really nice to watch the kids and talk with the other moms.
Jemma and Jocelyn
Jocelyn giving Jemma a hug. Jemma never gives hugs to kids when you tell her to. They come in and she stands there stiff as a board. But later when she thinks you're not looking or it is now her idea then she will give lots of hugs.
Trying to get a picture of all the kids. The only one missing was Carson because as soon as his mom backed away he ran after her. Also Kolby isn't in the picture because he was gone that day.
L to R: Jocelyn, Kiptyn, Jemma, Jaxon, Aiden
There's Carson.
Poor Carson ended up slitting his lip on this slide. He was a trooper though and was mad at his mom for making him stop playing until it stopped bleeding.
Jemma kept walking up the slide but would never go down.
Silly girl! She kept sitting on the bunny and smiling. Seriously she would just sit there for like 2-3 minutes. She wasn't even bouncing up and down like she was riding the bunny.
Pretty girl Jocelyn!
Jemma loves this swing. It is huge. She gets in it and closes her eyes then says, "I'm relaxing!"
Unfortunately for Jaxon, the little kids get bored easily and the Splash Pad is in a regular park so before long they wanted to play on the park equipment and Jaxon wanted to stay in the water. It ended up being just enough time for Mommy though. We had some errands to run before we went home then I had golf and Jaxon had a birthday party.
Jaxon had to take a picture before we left.
Jemmaism:
ABC song actually goes, "A Baby Sees". Who knew!
