Swim Lessons 2014

We took swim lessons in Larned again this year. Jemma got to participate. I wasn't sure how she would do but she did better than I expected. She still got out and would come talk to me or want to quit early some days but most of the time she did well. We always take the session in June. It is 2 weeks and always a crazy busy time but we are always stuck around here in June waiting for harvest and baseball so I'd rather have it crazy in June so maybe July can be a little more chill.

Jaxon getting with his group ready to head down to the deep end. He was in Level 4 or 5 this year which was down at the deep end the whole lesson. He was exhausted every day from all the swimming! He did great! They were really focused on doing the different strokes correctly and sometimes he likes to fudge it so it was good for him. Plus diving! That was always my problem. Hopefully it won't be as hard for him.








After the first day they came home and cuddled up for a movie. They were tired!


We of course had to picnic at the park a few times after lessons. Our lessons were at 11 this year instead of 10 which made it easier to get there on time. They have a duck pond right by the pool so the kids like to play and feed the ducks.
