Febrary 2015
Jaxon 9, Jemma 3
So we decided to go to the Great Wolf Lodge my birthday weekend because it is a lot cheaper to go during that time of the year. Fingers were crossed for good driving weather. For cheaper prices, we were staying at the lodge on Sunday but then I looked it up and found out there was a home K-State Basketball game that Saturday so we decided to make a whole weekend of it. The kids had never been to a basketball game there before.
First thing when we got to Manhattan on Saturday was getting food at Jason's deli.
Then Orange Leaf for dessert.
Officially in Manhattan when you see this.
Heading to the game.
We were lucky to see Willy right away when we walked in with no lines. Jax got his hat signed and it is his treasure now.
I remember her playing.
The cats lost but it was cool to see a game as a family. Afterwards we walked around the outside of the football stadium a bit. Weird to be there when there isn't a football game.
You can see the construction going on.
We headed to Smashburger for supper. We had to have chocolate milkshakes of course.
New Wildcat shirt.
The next morning we went to Varsity Donuts for breakfast before heading to Kansas City. Oh. My. Gosh. Delicious! Glad I don't live near one.
Now on to phase two of the weekend...
