Thanksgiving in Branson 2013 Day 1

My Granny and Papa had their 60th Anniversary in November so they decided to take the whole family to Branson for Thanksgiving. We left Tuesday, November 19th after school and didn't get in until about 12:30 or 1:00. The kids slept most of the way so they woke up and were wired for a few hours.
We stayed at a nice cabin so the next morning we toodled around the house and went for lunch.

Then we went to the grand village for some shopping.
We saw Santa. Jemma had been talking about Santa and everything she was going to ask him to get then got really shy when we actually saw him so Mommy had to be in the picture.

I saw a bunch of signs for wineries in Branson and recognized a certain kind that some friends from Missouri had brought that I liked so we went back to the cabin and those that wanted to go went to Stone Hill Winery.
We had to sit through a video first about how they make the wine then we had a tour of some of the barrels of wine they had there. This wasn't the actual place where the wine was made with the vineyards but still pretty cool.

Then we got to go to the wine tasting.

The only ones that went were me, my Aunt Jan, and my Dad. Faith went to but she wasn't able to drink! Ha ha!

We went out to eat afterwards. I don't remember the name but it had Mexican food. All I remember was it was an outdoor strip mall and we had to walk quite a ways to get there and it was freezing. Afterwards we didn't want to have to walk as far in the cold so we found this hallway we could cut through while the drivers went to get the car and bring them to use. We were in the hallway being goofy why my dad was waiting outside so they knew were to go. It was like he was helping us escape when he came up yelling, "Ok, Go! Go! Go!" and waving his arms. It was one of those we were so tired that everything was funny moments but we were dying laughing!

Here we are at the restaurant.
