Jason played designated pitch again this summer. This year I was one of his coaches along with another mom, Amy Stewart. Since I'm so unbelievably behind I'm just going to post a hodge podge of pictures. I don't remember exactly where each one is taken. I don't believe we won any games. We had a few that were close. We had a very young team with a bunch of second graders along with third and fourth. I hope the kids at least learned something. I could see improvement. Jaxon did really well this year. We moved the kids around to different positions. Jaxon did good at short stop and first base.
One thing I do remember is that we thought it was machine pitch and when we got to the first game we found out it was coach pitch and neither one of us had practiced doing that. Fortunately Amy is pretty athletic and pitched and sometimes Blake did if he was there. It is hard to pitch to little kids! I like to think I'm athletic but I'm not one that you can throw into any situation. I was never a pitcher.
Jemma was always the cheering sister at the game even if she wasn't always into it.

Love this picture of Jemma through the fence with her Cheez-its. Snacks are always a good thing.
Finally a home game against Macksville.
Jaxon also did good at helping the pitcher.

June Pics
Here are some random pics from June that don't need their own post so I'm putting it all together.
The kids painting some suncatchers I bought for a summer craft.
Jemma with Mommy's glasses.
Love it when they cuddle and don't fight.
We did lots of walks in the summer while Jaxon rode his bike.
The kids wanted to go to the park everyday. It just depended how busy we were and how hot it was.
Blake works on the farm in the summer so it's special when he meets up with us or has a day off to play.
Jaxon having ice cream while waiting to get his haircut at Stacy's.
Jemma getting a trim. Not too much because she wants hair like Rapunzel.
Blake DJ'd a family friend's wedding so we all got to go. There was some downtime between the food and the dance starting and the kids started getting restless so Blake played some music like the hokey pokey to keep them occupied.
Jaxon was happy to help his Dad get the kids going.
Jaxon found a buddy to dance with.
My silly girl having a drink break at Granny's.
Jemma with her "boyfriend" Carson Roenbaugh.
The kids resting with Daddy when he came in for lunch one day.
Playing with Kiptyn at the Kinsley pool.
Getting one of Jemma's favorite snacks of the summer at Granny's. Easy mac and cheese.
Jemma loved to go to the track this summer. She has so much energy!
Park time after.
Making a tent fort.
Visiting Mamaw.
Jemma and Carson at his birthday party.
Carson will just do whatever Jemma says. We'll see how long that lasts.
More cuddles! I love summer!
My instagram post of the kids swimming then tired afterwards.
Jemma fell asleep and fell off the couch and kept sleeping like this.
That's my boy!
Jemma sitting on Bubbie's lap in the car wash.
Rummikub at Granny's.
An old lady.
Jaxon's lego creation.
Jemma cuddling Uncle D.
My goofball. He's never liked to wear clothes in the summer. Really anytime during the year. Look how big he is!
The kids were playing Spy Kids.
Jaxon's favorite place - McDonalds.
