Lord's Acre 2012

The Lewis Methodist Church always has a Lord's Acre every year since the beginning of time (my time at least!). They had it on NOvember 17 this year at the community building. They always have great food and an auction that is stuff people made or donated. They also had a raffle this year. We met my family at the supper and Blake's parents came over also. They came to the house for a bit before then we went over together.

Jaxon got to help pass out things for the raffle and auction. When I was little they only had the auction but that was the best part when you were old enough to hold and pass out the things people had bought.

During the raffle, they picked up this bag and Jemma reaching for it and saying she wanted it. Granny and Papa couldn't be at the Lord's Acre so she gave me her tickets and told me she could have what she won. When Jemma started wanting the bag I was trying to find a distraction because I knew we wouldn't win and then we did! Jemma was so happy. Inside was Mary Kay stuff for me and Jemma got the bag which is what she wanted. It actually kept her busy most of the night putting the stuff in and out of the bag. Lucky girl!

They had this cute little crocheted dress for auction and no one was bidding on it so when they were about to give up, I bid on it and got it for $12.50. Jemma loved it and wanted to wear it right then.
