On March 30, the Lewis Fire Department hosted an Easter egg hunt in the park.
Jemma and Jocelyn checking out each other's Easter baskets before the hunt.
Trying to get a nice picture of the kids - yeah right!
Jemma with Paul. His mom, Aimee, is a friend of mine from school.
And her daughter, Charlotte.
Jaxon over in his area. They divided them up by age so Blake went with Jaxon and my mom and I went with Jemma. She had her camera to take pictures so Blake took ours. I think I took the video camera. We can't have anymore kids because we will run out of devices to record their every move.
Jemma's side was not nearly this competitive or fast.
Checking out the loot.
On Jemma's side she really just wanted to eat the candy she found first. We finally convinced her there was more but it was a compromise of eating some while she hunted for more candy.
Jemmaism:
Jemma can count to 11. She misses them sometimes of course but I've heard her do it all by herself. No one-to-one correspondence yet (that's the teacher talking) but I'm impressed she can count at all.
