Soccer Practice

Jaxon participated in soccer in Kinsley this spring. His friend Michael asked if he wanted to sign up and even though Jaxon's never played except in PE he decided to go for it. They started practice over Spring Break that was unfortunately when we were gone so he started the week after Spring Break. They practiced every Wednesday and Friday in Kinsley and games were on Saturday in Dodge City. The weather has been psycho this spring though, we would have sunny and hot days and then the next day it would snow. So because of the crazy weather he hardly ever had any practices so he was kind of nervous to play. Here are some pics from practices.

The first practice Jaxon was kind of lost since he'd never played. Honestly, Blake and I had never played competitively so we had to learn about the game also. I was proud of him though. He wasn't shy about it (like I would have been) and kept on trying and playing hard. He also amazes me with his skills at making friends. I was so shy around people I didn't know but he actually seems to look forward to the challenge of making new friends. He does not get that from me!
