Besides celebrating Jaxon's birthday with some of his friends we also had family celebrations. Blake's parents were going to a reunion on Jaxon's birthday so we went down to Pratt before Jaxon's birthday to celebrate with them.
Opening gifts
Papaw telling him all about it.
Pogo Stick! Jaxon hasn't quite mastered it yet.
Jemma playing with daddy.
Then we celebrated Jaxon's birthday with my side a day before his birthday because his actual birthday was Lewis Days which is another post. We woke up that morning and Jemma had a fever. :( Pretty sure she was teething but her fever never let up until the next day. We had planned on going to Dodge to eat at Applebees because they sing to you (which we found out they don't do anymore) and then watch Brave at the movie theater. So mommy stayed home with Jemma and sent the others on to Dodge. Then we had cake and presents when they got back. I was disappointed to miss it but at least we didn't miss cake and presents. It took some convincing to get Jaxon on board with waiting for presents though.
Jaxon with his empty plate of macaroni and cheese he loves from Applebees. It's better than Mommy's although it is Kraft which is what I use and taste the same to me.
Blake took these photos.
The family singing Happy Birthday because they don't do that anymore.
Back at home Mommy didn't have time to make another cake so I convinced Jaxon a Dairy Queen cake would be awesome! He was disappointed they didn't have Avengers but I got the same colors and it was a lot easier for me. (Sorry Buddy, I love you but it has been a crazy summer and I did make you one cake.) They picked it up before they came home and it was just right by the time they got back.

Happy Birthday Jaxon! It has been an amazing 7 years and can't wait for 7 more! (Just make it slow down.) Love you to the moon and back!
