I can't believe our little diva princess is 2 already! It seems like just yesterday Jaxon was praying for a baby sister. She has grown so much this year! I look at pictures from this summer and she looks like a baby and boom all the sudden she is a little girl! I thought the second one would go slower somehow but it's gone faster! We love you Jemma girl!
I debated about the theme for her birthday. I really like Minnie Mouse but at the time Jemma didn't know who she was and never watched TV so one day when she was particularly her sassy self I thought "Diva Princess"! Of course after I decided this and started ordering stuff she started talking about Dora and Minnie Mouse! Oh well, I hope she still likes it for her next birthday - stinker!
I was happy with how the cake turned out.
The Diva with her gifts.
I got her whole outfit from etsy except for the sandals.
She was actually doing some posing. She has never been good at doing that but when Mom took her birthday photos for the invitation she did a great job. She was even up for it this day that was really long after soccer in the morning and getting ready for her party.
Love!
Oops, attitude is changing.
I don't have it on my computer but Jaxon's face looks like this great photo from his 2nd birthday.
Present time! She is so spoiled!
Dora doll from Uncle D!
Uncle D had to open it right away!
Opening her gift from Bubbie.
Jaxon got her Little People Super Heroes. She loves this gift and plays with it a lot. There is Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Joker, Green Lantern and her favorite - Robin. She's always saying, "Where's my Robin?" Mostly she plays with them in the bath tub. Except for Robin who she takes to bed sometimes.
A set of cooking pots, pans, and utensils from Mommy and Daddy so she can cook.
Grandma went overboard with Minnie Mouse.
Jemma got some super cute clothes from Granny and Papa. The picture of her holding the clothes didn't turn out but you'll see them in a minute.
She got an adorable multi-colored dress from Mamaw and Papaw.
The last gift, a new tricycle from Mommy and Daddy! Notice the clothes change. The little clothes horse had to wear the clothes Granny got her right away.
Trying to figure out the pedals.
Look at all that loot!
Time to cook!
Family photo time. Good luck!

Her telling him to stop.
Grandpa helping her blow out the candles.
Yes, there are other people at the party.
The many faces of Jaxon.
Mamaw's birthday is right after Jemma's so we gave her her gift.
Yay! I remembered to get pictures of grandparents and kids.
