May 23 was the last day of school. The kids just come in the morning and we have Kindergarten graduation, 6th grade promotion, and the awards ceremony.
I can't believe this year is over. It has gone so fast and before you know it, I will have a Third Grader. Seriously! I am so proud of Jaxon this year. He started out the year not liking to read at all and thinking he couldn't do it. We all worked really hard this year and now he loves to read! Seriously, he reads all the time. He also had a lot more homework this year than he was used to but he worked through it and knows that he can do it. He even went over his goal of 100 AR Points!
These are the gifts I got for his teachers. His classroom teacher, Mrs. Baker, got a Starbucks gift card and cookies that said, "Thanks a Latte For All You Do". We also gave cookies to his PE teacher, Mrs. Stewart, and music teacher, Mr. Jackson. Their note said, "Thanks for Making Me One Smart Cookie".

Jaxon got all A's this last nine weeks. This picture was for all A's and B's for the whole year! Great Job Jaxon!
Jaxonism:
We were getting in the car and I told Jaxon to bring his iPod so he'd have something to do and he said, "No, I got a book." (Not funny but I love it!)
