In July we took a family vacation to Colorado Springs! We were excited to take the kids to the mountains again this time in the summer.

Not long after this photo then Jemma started complaining about feeling bad. She said it was her stomach so we are thinking maybe car sickness. Then she kept saying she needed to stop at the bathroom like every 5 minutes. We stopped a few times but no go so we pushed through. When we got to the hotel she said she felt better so we decided not to try to do a little bit but not go far. We stayed at The Academy Hotel which was right by a mall so we decided to go to Build a Bear first.
Well first a quick stop at Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in the Mall for Mama. Yum!

Like right after we walked into Build a Bear Jemma said she didn't feel good and Blake made it to a trash can with her and she threw up. We went back to the motel and she had a fever and was out of it.
We got some medicine but I was really concerned since we were so far away if she needed to go to the doctor or anything. We waited and of course Jaxon was getting worried because of our trip. Jemma woke up from a long nap and felt better. She ate some food and got a good night's sleep and was ready to go the next day. Who knows?
