Drive In

I always forget that Dodge has a drive-in movie theater. I remembered a few times this summer and finally remembered to look it up. They have a Facebook page so I liked that to know what movies they would have hoping we could catch a kid movie. They were showing Planes at the end of summer so we went. It was actually kind of chilly for August but it worked out great. The movie started right at dark. They actually had another movie after it but it was already 11 when it was over so we headed home since we don't live in town.

Setting up the chairs. Some sat in cars and some sat in the chairs. Some (Jemma) like to bounce back and forth.




We had a little time to play before the movie. It was packed. The only I didn't like was all the stickers.

It was a lot of fun. Jemma did really good. That is the kind of movie for her so she can move around and talk more. Towards the end she was talking and talking and I was trying to get her to be quiet. Then all of the sudden she was asleep.

In the bathtub Jemma likes to lay down on her tummy and "watch TV". Most of the time it is Parental Guidance and we pretend to laugh or sing along. We have to turn it off before we get out.

We were driving to Great Bend and Jemma asked if we were there when we got to Larned and I said no. She said, "Ugh, it's taking 4 hours!" We assume this translates to forever.
