On Saturday, September 7 we headed to Hutchinson for the state fair.
The first thing we saw was the Lego tent. Jaxon was excited!
We didn't get to stay very long since it was the first thing and we were all dying of thirst. Jemma wanted LEMONADE, NOW!
Some sights.
Jemma getting ready to ride the ponies. She wanted to but started to cry when I put her up there. I could tell she was just a little unsure but I kept talking to her and then she loved it once they started going. I walked by her the whole time so I knew she'd be ok.
Thumbs up!
Then we started getting some fair food but we were all hot so we found this to cool off. The kids loved it! We didn't have any extra clothes but they dried.
Then it was time for rides which is really all the kids wanted. My biggest find was a stand that had huge teas for only $1! Nothing was a $1 so we all kept going back for more. We couldn't get enough liquid.
Jemma loved the rides this year. It was a balancing act keeping both kids happy on rides. Jemma was upset there was some she was too short to do. She thinks she's a big girl.
I took both kids on the ferris wheel.
Jaxon had to play some games. The biggest money wasters I think but it is all part of the experience.
Jaxon won this game and got a Minion. I don't have a picture of the prize for some reason.
Jaxon and I on the Tornado.
Jemma loved this bus! Jaxon did a great job riding with her on different rides.
